The Crown World Mobility office, along with other Crown divisions in New Delhi, teamed up with Literacy India and organized a drawing completion for underprivileged children.
Literacy India is an NGO which was established in the year 1996 with the objective of empowering underprivileged children and women by making them self sufficient. Keeping in view the rising problems of population and unemployment, the root causes of which are illiteracy and ignorance, Literacy India aims to increase awareness of the importance of education for underprivileged children and youths.
Everyone from the Delhi team contributed Rs. 300 towards organizing a drawing competition for 50 students in aged from five to six years’ old and provided them with stationary (pencils, color pencils, erasers, sharpeners and drawing sheets). The theme for the competition was "Christmas and New Year" .
The children were given awarded prizes after the competition. Finally, packets of snacks and chocolates were distributed to all the children.
