Since the possibilities in Africa are enormous for so many industries and businesses, and visible progress continues to be made, companies are increasingly investing across Africa and moving employees and their families to support their business initiatives. It is within this context that we have conducted research on global mobility into and within Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). To gain insight into the drivers, challenges and Introduction approaches for international assignments into and within SSA, Crown surveyed 20 organizations, across a range of industries, to get the pulse on their strategies and successes and to explore issues and trends relating to mobility into and within the continent. This issue written by Lisa Johnson (Global Practice Leader of Crown World Mobility's Consulting Group) shares highlights from this research and provides analysis that can be applied to global mobility programs and policies.
