To become a BAR Member a removal company has to prove that they can meet the high standards of the existing Members, to maintain the value of the membership and the benchmark for quality that it represents.
Every member works to the BAR Code of Practice, approved by Trading Standards, protecting and promoting consumer interests beyond the requirements of the law. Members are annually audited and must meet the BAR Membership criteria to make sure the high standard remains consistent.
Where BAR Members take payment in advance of the move – which is standard industry practice – you are protected by BAR’s Advanced Payment Guarantee.
What is Advance Payment Guarantee?
It is usual practice in the removals industry for a mover to request full customer payment prior to a move taking place. The BAR Advanced Payment Guarantee scheme protects this pre-payment. In the unlikely event that Crown Relocations fails financially prior to fulfilling your removal contract, that advanced payment will be protected.
